Crunchyroll
Anime culture, drawn into the floor plate.
Crunchyroll's flagship India office had to do two things at once: feel like a global media platform from the moment you stepped out of the lift, and run as the hub for a 220-person operations team. The brand is anime; the building is enterprise.
The challenge
Wayfinding became character-led — phone booths colour-coded to franchises, meeting rooms wallpapered with hand-drawn city scenes, a café styled like a set. Underneath all of that: enterprise acoustics, AV-equipped rooms, MEP coordination running concurrent with civil work to make the eleven-week programme.

A reception that sets the tone.
Wood slats, plants, soft seating — culture at the door, not on a poster.
Phone booths, character-coded.
Yellow, blue, orange. Each anchored by an anime poster — not as decoration, as wayfinding.
Meeting rooms with a story.
Hand-painted city wallpaper. Acoustic-rated. Character even in serious conversations.
A café designed like a stage.
Ring lighting, tatami-inspired ceiling, red chairs. The most photographed corner of the office.
Even the lockers tell the story.
Custom decals at the staff entry. The first thing employees touch. The first thing they remember.

FAQ — Crunchyroll
How does brand show up in the space without becoming a theme park?+
Brand appears in wayfinding choices, not décor. Phone booths are colour-coded to franchises so staff name them quickly; murals are city scenes from anime, not character portraits.
How were 220 workstations resolved on a single plate?+
A perimeter ring of focus desks, a central collaboration spine, and twelve meeting rooms at the joints. No internal stairs, no split-level penalties.
What was the programme?+
Eleven weeks from design freeze to handover. MEP and civil ran concurrent; finishes followed in two-week zone-by-zone phases.
